What were those things called…?
What were those instruments called that were tiny, battery powered strips that you played with a metal stick…? Not a helpful description I know. I think Rolf Harris used to have one (no, not a wobble board or a didgereedoo). They were popular in the 70s I think. And, what’s a euphonium?
Yes, they are called Stylophones – Rolf Harris didn’t INVENT them, but he DID advertise them.
I think the most memorable song they were ever used on was David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’
