If you have access to one, the elliptical machine is best in my opinion. It is the best of all worlds….it mimics the feel of pedaling while standing up on bike, you can make it as easy or as hard as you would like!!! You can also “run” backwards(really working the thighs) on an elliptical machine, which can be dangerous on a treadmill and ineffective on a bike machine…
